Morning in Venice, first in the Venice series, expresses my unbridled passion for the breathtaking beauty of this city. The mottled wall, bathed in the warmth of the morning sun, is a calendar spanning thirteen centuries; gazing at each brick, each relief, and each wooden carving on the building is like studying every page of this rich history. Besides, how could one doubt that we can travel back in time in these elegant gondolas, still gliding back and forth in the ancient canals?
