Whitewater Crossing

A few years ago I participated in a fall cattle roundup on a friends ranch near Durango, Colorado. We packed into a line shack in the mountains where we would spend several days gathering cattle. It is critical to move the livestock to lower ground where they can be fed through the harsh winters of Colorado. I captured this scene as we crossed a mountain stream where the water was rushing and a light snow was beginning to fall.
