I was invited to help a fried round up cattle in Southern Colorado in early autumn a few years ago. Our timing was perfect as the Aspen trees were just reaching their maximum color. The air was crisp and the water in the streams was clear. The cattle were still grazing high in the mountains of this 12,000 acre ranch and were not ready to come to lower ground. We spent three days riding through the trees, up and down the steep terrain, coaxing the Hereford cattle to greener pastures. There's no better way to watch the seasons change in all it's glory than "Ridin the Rockies"
