After the Centennial Parade

One of the many events which benchmarks the Centennial celebration in Texas in 1936 was a parade in Austin. This image revisits that era and permits us to revue a time that so nationally mixed the past and the future. As the streetcars roll and the carriages depart for home, a time of Texas' heritage is recorded "After the Centennial Parade."
