Del adds, “I am a self-taught artist. The only way I can describe how I paint is to say that I completely surrender myself to God’s guidance and immerse myself in each painting. My hand is guided by my mind’s eye as I mentally and spiritually transport myself into the image. I strive to capture the moment in time, the subtleties of light and shadows and the overall beauty of the image. In the end, I want the viewer to be drawn into the scene.”

At an early age Mark was taken with the desire to capture those perfect moments in time when a fond memories just wasn't enough. With the encouragement of family and friends, and the flame of accomplishment moved Mark in the direction of art as a career. At the age of fifteen he was given a starter set of acrylics, a wildlife magazine subscription, and the rest is history. Pictured here with his lovely wife Bonnie and their two boys.
You are invited into this scene to bask in the sun's warm light, to enjoy the beauty of creation, and to enter in to the wonder and joy of these two "little angels"
